Fake Messages from Water Companies |

Good afternoon, Colleagues in other constabularies have made us aware that their residents have received fake communications purporting to be from their local water supplier. The messages use authentic logos and professional language to appear genuine. Messages could be in any form eg: text, email, social media etc: Clicking on the links will take you to genuine-looking fake websites designed to steal your personal and financial information including bank details, payment card details, passwords/PINs. Protect Yourself: Remember: Your genuine water supplier will not ask you to update your payment details or provide sensitive information sent in unsolicited messages.
